Tips for a better AI portrait
- Use a front-facing photo with your face clearly visible and evenly lit.
- Avoid sunglasses, masks or hands covering the face.
- A head-and-shoulders crop works well; JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB (convert HEIC to JPEG).
- Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload other people’s photos without their permission.
- We tested a single-person photo. Group photos have not been tested on this page.

What happens to your photo
- Nothing is sent until you choose a photo, tick the consent box and press the create button.
- Your photo is sent to AI Gahaku and its AI providers for processing. It is not saved in the web trial’s database.
- The result is kept for one hour so you can reopen it, and you can delete it sooner.
