1. Information We Collect

The Service collects the following information to provide its services.

1-1. Information Provided by Users

• Image Data: Photos selected or uploaded by the user (which may include facial images)
• Input / Settings Information: Parameters such as style selections (text, numeric, or selection data)

1-2. Information That May Be Automatically Collected

The Service may collect the following information to the minimum extent necessary for quality improvement and bug fixes:

• Usage Logs (e.g., crash logs, error information, partial usage activity)
• Device Information (e.g., OS version, device model, app version)

* The above information may not be collected depending on implementation and usage conditions.

2. Purpose of Use

Information collected by the Service is used for the following purposes:

• Generating and providing AI portraits
• Feature improvement, quality enhancement, bug fixes, and security improvement
• Responding to inquiries (when necessary)

3. Data Sent to Service Providers

When you start a conversion, your selected photo (which may include faces) and settings such as the style are sent to AI Gahaku and its AI providers. Depending on the style and processing conditions, we use Runware, RunPod, and Replicate. Some app features also use Google AI services.

We use Cloudflare for website delivery, rate limiting, and diagnostic image storage (Cloudflare R2), and Google Cloud for generation infrastructure. The providers handle data under their respective policies below.

4. Retention and Deletion

Web trial: the generated result is only returned to your browser and is not stored in the Web database. So that it can be shown again on your next visit, only the latest result is kept in this browser (IndexedDB); it is not sent to our server, and you can remove it with "Remove from this browser" or by clearing the site’s data. Because the Web trial uses the same generation service as the app, the source photo and a reduced copy of the result may be saved in diagnostic storage for quality review and troubleshooting.

Whether you have used the free trial is recorded in a browser cookie for up to one year; no usage records are kept on our server. To limit rapid repeated requests, your IP address is used for per-minute request counts but is not stored. Your browser also stores identifiers needed to show attribution for an article sample.

Mobile app: depending on the feature and runtime settings, input and generated images may be saved in diagnostic storage for quality review and troubleshooting. Contact us using the details below to request deletion of images in diagnostic storage, including those from the Web trial.

External AI providers process and retain data under their own terms and policies. Deletion from AI Gahaku does not guarantee simultaneous deletion of every copy held by those providers.

5. Images Containing Faces

Photos containing faces can be transformed. They are sent to external AI providers for generation, and results and diagnostic data are handled as described in sections 3 and 4. Please use photos you have permission to process and respect the rights of the people depicted.

6. Consent and Choice

In the Web trial, the image handling is shown below the create button; pressing the button is your consent, and your photo is sent at that point. Selecting a photo alone does not send it to the generation service. Article samples are also sent only after you press the button.

You can browse without consenting to generation, and delete a saved result afterwards. The trial may not work if the cookies needed to enforce its limit are unavailable.

7. License of Generated Images

Generated images can be used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

You must also comply with rights and license conditions attached to the source photo. The article’s apple sample and its derivatives use CC BY-SA 4.0, as credited in the article.
This license does not include the right to duplicate images from AI画伯 for the purpose of replicating similar or competing services.

8. Advertisements on this Site

This site currently shows no advertisements and uses no cookies for advertising.

9. Access Analysis Tools Used by this Site

This site uses the access analysis tool "Google Analytics" provided by Google.
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data.
The traffic data collected is anonymous and does not personally identify you.
You can refuse the collection of data by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

10. Security

The Service implements reasonable security measures, including encryption of communications and access controls, to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of collected information. However, we cannot guarantee complete security for communications over the Internet.

11. Use by Minors

If a minor uses the Service, please obtain parental or guardian consent as necessary before use.

12. Changes to This Policy

• The Service may change this policy as necessary. If significant changes are made, we will announce them on this page or through other means.
• The revised Privacy Policy will take effect when it is posted on this website.
